Fred & Miah is a cosmetics company that prioritizes inclusivity, in need of a brand identity, product line, and packaging. Before beginning research, I established that Fred & Miah’s target audience would be 20-30 year olds of all genders who would have the lifestyle and funds to prioritize self-care. A thoroughly conducted peer survey revealed vital aspects of product selection and brand development.
The skincare line was designed as a full routine: cleanser, toner, facial serum, moisturizer, and lash serum, which were all vegan and cruelty-free. After extensive on-site research in beauty stores, I established a modern, futuristic, minimalist brand using a gender-neutral green gradient and a custom low-contrast sans serif font which blended modified characters from two different typefaces. The result was a brand radiating elegance and class, delivering clean formulas to anyone that wants to nurture their skin.
