One perk of attending a university renowned for its culinary program was becoming acquainted with people that are creative in edible mediums. Riley asked for a brand to represent her personal business selling sourdough bread, with the only demand being that maroon was the primary color (it’s her favorite). The heart and chef hat were united to represent how Riley bakes “with love and gratitude.” To exemplify that each loaf is handmade, a stamp style was used throughout the brand to communicate craft and enhance customers’ experience buying locally. The brand design included a full logo system, two patterns that can work separately or together, and some additional components that could work as graphics or stickers.
